Jewelry Care

A Dubé Designs jewelry is handmade with care and we know you’re going to want to keep it looking great. Here are some tips to help you do just that:

• Storing your jewelry properly is important. To avoid damage, store your jewelry separately in plastic zipper bags to minimize oxidation/tarnishing, scratching and tangling (many of our items are shipped with plastic baggies for this very reason).
• Don’t take your jewelry with you when you go swimming. Chemicals in swimming pools and hot tubs will accelerate tarnishing and leave your jewels looking dull.  
• Avoid getting leather wet, especially leather bracelets.  We recommend that you remove them before washing dishes and bathing.  
• For stones, avoid impact against hard surfaces and contact with perfumes, cosmetics and household chemicals.
• If your stones look a little dull and tired (and they are not connected to leather), you can clean them by using a soft toothbrush, lukewarm water and a small amount of liquid soap.  Regular cleaning will help to retain their glamour and shine.
