Everything that is made has been touched by my hands and turned into something that has beauty, dimension, and life.

The Idea

Our idea evolved from the very nature of who we are, what we do, and how to make it accessible to those who love it and want more.

A Dubé Designs was started in 2012 and is comprised of Alicia, the designer and fabricator of the jewelry, and Claudia, the graphic designer, marketer, and promoter.

Beacause Alicia makes everything locally, we knew our webstore could not be like others- those with endless inventory and people in far-off places around the world implementing our designs.  We decided to create a website that showcases what we handcraft and make available, until it's gone. Then we head back to the studio to make more, if raw ingredients are still available.  We will constantly be adding fresh pieces and collections and will keep you updated via Instagram (@a_dube_designs), A Dubé Designs on Facebook or newsletter.

Another part of The Idea is connection.  It is important for us to connect with our community and bring up-and-coming and established artists into the fold. Photographers, models, and graphic designers are local. We are also interested in connecting with you. Please let us know if you have any comments or questions (such as the status of an item or if you want to know whether you can add a piece to an "I want this" list [insert grabby hands]).

Finally, thanks to all of you who are interested in A Dubé jewelry and who follow us on Instagram, Facebook, and via our newsletter. We appreciate your support and thank you for being incredibly encouraging, supportive, and downright pushy (you know who you are)!

100% Handmade

All of the jewelry is made by Alicia, one-by-one, in her studio in Savage, Minnesota, USA.  Cuffs, ear wires, button closures, and maker's mark tags are all hand-forged. Bangles, bezels, hoops, and rings are soldered by hand.  Precious metals are textured, hammered, filed, antiqued, and polished by hand.  Headpins are made, wires are twisted and wrapped, and stones are weaved and knotted- all by hand.
